This U + O-shaped DGSL garage door seals for uneven floor are heavier than I expected, but that’s a good thing for durability I would guess.

With its U shape and O-ring combination, this heavy-duty strip fits perfectly, effectively sealing out drafts, dirt, pests, and water.

The T-Channel Ends Style ensures easy installation without the need for screws or nails. What impressed me the most is its 7 insulation round layers, significantly reducing noise by up to 5 times.

Started off easy on the first foot while feeding it through the track. If you are doing this alone put lay out the rest of the roll and feed it from a high location if possible so you’re not fighting gravity. Once you get past the halfway mark just feed a few inches then pull the bit from the other end.

Of course, this would be easier with two people (one feed, one pull), but can be done with just one. Took me about 30 mins alone.

I’ve seen some say to lube the tracks, and that may have worked for me, but I didn’t want to smell PB Blaster this morning. My daylight at the bottom of the uneven floor of concrete is gone.

High quality and provides a great seal. Installation was not particularly difficult as I used WD40 and it slid on fairly easily considering that this can be a challenging task. I spent more time trying to get off the old seal than it took me to install the new one.

Bought this Bowsen garage door seals for uneven floor to replace the original seal that came with a 16ft garage door.

We have tried this on a wooden garage door with a flat bottom, and this seal strip has been a perfect fit. Not only that, but it’s also versatile enough to be used in various other applications like edge gates and sliding doors.

The kit I received was top-notch. It included a 16-foot aluminum retainer track with a width of 1-5/8 inches, making it sturdy and durable. The installation was a breeze, thanks to the included screws and the sturdy aluminum extrusion that securely held the seal insert in place.

The aluminum track sections were quite solid-sturdy, and the rubber seal, even though it was folded several times over, did not have any visible kinks in it as others had reported.

Cutting the track was quite easy, and inserting the rubber seal with oil was the trick as others had reported (I just liberally applied light compressor oil I had handy to the T sections of the rubber seal and just fed it into the track).

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this garage door seal for uneven floor. It has made a noticeable difference in keeping out drafts, dirt, and pests. If you’re looking for an effective and reliable solution, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Overall great quality kit without any disappointments. I ordered the 16 foot kit and it comes with 5 sections of track that are approximately 41 inches each so gives a total of 17 feet of track – easy to cut to size. High quality product that works exactly as needed. Great upgrade from the old worn out weather stripping. Definitely recommend this one!

Heavy-Duty U + O-Ring garage door seals for uneven floor are a good option for the smooth functioning of a garage door.

The Tracks were easy enough to install with clamps holding the track sections in place. I used a center punch to start a hole in the aluminum bottom.

No need to pre-drill as the provided non-self-tapping screws are easily screwed into the small punched hole. I mixed a dish soap solution into a spray bottle.

And soaked both tracks about 5 ft. ahead of the rubber to be inserted and pulled. It was over 100 degrees outside, so didn’t want to soak too far ahead in case it started to dry & create resistance.

I was able to insert & push the rubber alone with ease, not rushing & keeping the inserted side level with the track.

The soaked tracks seem to be the trick of allowing the rubber to be pushed through the track, even on a hot day. I got lucky, not having to adjust the door sensitivity, the door closed completely & sealed the bottom.

Simple and easy to install. I used an angle grinder to cut down the last track to fit my doors and couldn’t be happier. I did have to pre-drill holes in the garage doors, but was able to do it myself by using duct take to hold the track in place. Got it all done the same day pretty quickly.

Pros

  • Easy to install and works well.
  • This keeps water, wind-driven rain, snow, and leaves from entering the garage

Cons

  • Does the job but you need multiple people to install it.

How to Replace Garage Door Bottom Seal

Follow these steps to replace the garage door bottom seal at your garage door:

  1. First, cut 1 inch off the end you will not use because it won’t lay flat. Try and straighten the best you can. Bring the rollup door almost down. Try to get it down to 1/4″ from touching the floor. You want to see light on the other side.
  2.  Now place the 1′ weather strip in the middle of the door and put the longer side under the door.
  3.  Now that you can see where the Threshold Seal Strip will be placed, use a sharpie to mark the spot. Move it down a foot and do it again until you have a line from one end to another. You will no longer need this 1-inch cut. Throw it in the trash.
  4.  Now grab your roll and start measuring. You are ready to cut your length.
  5.  The glue you want is equivalent to liquid nails. It must be able to stick to concrete and rubber. It must also be useable for underwater applications. Use only the best premium. Seal the bottom with the glue and let it dry.

Installing a garage door seals for uneven floor will protect your garage from running water, crawling bugs and pastes, and escaping conditioned air.
